Pre production evaluation
I have completed pre production for my film:the disappearance of oliver barrett i will
evaluate how effectively i will utilise the pre production during filming and editing.
I am first going to make sure i stick to the story clearly so as to avoid any more
unnecessary setbacks such as extra props needed or more paperwork being needed
afterthe pre production stage this will speed up development and also make for a
better filmexperience.

I will make sure all the locations i have scouted and had permission to use are utilised
effectively.for this i will need to refer to my shooting schedule for each location this will
make sure no legal trouble arises with permissions or safety hazards. This is easily done but a few
problems may arise if unforeseen circumstances occur and locations aren't available for
shooting new locations may be needed if so this will have setbacks as release forms will have
to be signed and safety hazards will have to be accounted for.

The logistics planning I have done will plan my cast and crew arranging times to meet up for
shooting. To do this I have created an instagram group chat where the cast and crew will
confirm that they are available and able to travel to the location and if any rescheduling
has to be done. The health and safety procedures done will ensure the risk of injury is as
low as it can be such as having transport on hand if needed to go to the hospital.if medical
attention is needed in the event of a serious accident this could seriously slow down
development and legal issues could occur. We will follow a set schedule as strictly as
possible. However if scenes are needed to reshoot or we had to shoot a scene longer
than foreseen then i will have to ensure my cast and crew are aware of this and have a
flexible schedule and are willing to take time to ensure the scenes completion.

The films idea was planned by me and conferred over by friends over the course of a few
months and then i completed the treatment i decided action movies were easier to produce
than a lot of other genres so i started watching films with similar story to my idea for
inspiration for style, shots and plot i took inspiration of the taken trilogy the most
while i tried not to out right steal the plot it was a heavy inspiration.

The biggest constraint through film production will be the 5 minute limit to the film which limits
how far i can explore the reasoning of the antagonists which are arguably the most
interesting characters their reasoning for doing what they do would've been more fleshed
out without the time limit
